About Us
Great Lake Life Saving Society was founded in 2016 by a group of seven passionate individuals who recognized the urgent need to combat preventable drowning across Uganda. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into a dynamic, mission-driven organization dedicated to saving lives through education, training, and community engagement.
As a social enterprise, we reinvest our revenue into expanding access to water safety and emergency response training, empowering communities to become their own first line of defense.
Our programs serve everyone, with a special focus on:
