Every second counts in a water emergency. Our Community-based Water Rescue Training program is designed to give everyday people the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to safely respond when seconds matter most.

Whether you’re a parent, lifeguard, teacher, coach, or outdoor enthusiast, this training helps you become a local hero — ready to step in when someone is in trouble in or near water.

What Is Water Rescue Training?

Water Rescue Training prepares individuals to:

  • Recognize signs of drowning or distress

  • Respond without putting themselves at risk

  • Use basic rescue tools like throw bags, poles, or flotation devices

  • Perform safe in-water assists (for trained swimmers)

  • Administer basic first aid and CPR until professionals arrive

This is not just for professionals. Our training is tailored for regular community members with little or no rescue background.
