What You’ll Learn
✅ Water Rescue Techniques
Efficiently rescuing a swimmer in distress without putting yourself in danger
Using rescue equipment, such as rescue tubes and backboards
How to perform water entries and exits under various conditions

How to perform CPR for adults, children, and infants

Course Requirements & Prerequisites
To ensure you’re ready for the demands of lifeguarding, all participants must:
Be at least 15 years old by the last day of the course
Pass a swim test on the first day, which includes:
300-yard continuous swim using front crawl and breaststroke
Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs
Retrieve a 10-lb brick from a depth of 7–10 feet, then swim 20 yards with it
